I didn't do too much shopping this week because work as been crazy.  Dan went and got some stuff that we needed, but that was it.

Savings Summary Saturday - April 28, 2012

The luck is coming back - Jeep is back home & some good stuff this week.

Grocery Shopping (and other savings) this week:

• grocery deals
• Used the remainder of the Verizon rebate card ($45.16) when we went shopping
• Chef Boyardee - 50 cents/can (on sale for $1 each and used coupon for 50 cents off 2 which was doubled)
• GM cereal - $2 each (on sale for $2.50 each and used a coupon for $1.50/3
• Colgate Total - $2 to $2.33 each (on sale for $3 to $3.33 each and used coupon for $1/1 - larger size had coupon booklet in it).
• Kellogg cereal - $1.10 each (on sale for $2.50 each and used coupon for 70 cents/1 which was doubled) - items to be donated.
• Jeep is finally back home - All damage done in accident will be covered under other person's insurance. No money will be out of pocket (just in convenience & pain!)
• I WON!  I oversee the marketing program at work and one of our projects is a text messaging program.  The company that does our text messaging for us had a raffle from the first of the year to April 15 based on the number of text messages that were sent out by your location.  The winner had a choice of an IPhone 4s, a Kindle Fire, or an XBox.  Well, we have both an IPhone 4s (both hubby & me) and hubby has an XBox.  So I will be getting an Amazon Kindle Fire!  Not sure if I'll be keeping it or giving it to hubby (I have an IPad 1 already).
