Six Years without a Car Accident

So today we took the Jeep in for work that needed to be done.  When the Jeep was in for the catalytic converter, the dealer (and Goodyear) said that it needed rear brakes, had three different leaks and need the drive belt changed.





Usually, they call to get the ok on the work, but this time it was a call to say that the Jeep was in an accident in the parking lot.  The tech backed out of a parking space when someone else was and also backing out and they hit.  GREAT!  We've had the jeep for 6 years and never had an accident and then when it is in an accident, we aren't even driving.

Anyway, before I could even call our insurance, the other guy's insurance called and said they are taking full responsibility for the accident.  We are hoping to get the Jeep back on Monday night (they are closed tomorrow due to Easter) and then we'll take it to the body shop on Tuesday.  We'll be getting a rental and will just need to pay for gas.

Today just hasn't gone as planned.  I work up (and stilll do) feeling a little sick.  I'm sure it's just sinuses.  Dan put on his plumber hat today and changed the faucet to the sink.  It took longer than he expected, with 3 extra trips to Home Depot, but it's done!  Woohoo!

The good thing that happened today - The Caps won!  We are going to the 2nd round!
