This cooking thing is going pretty well!
Last night was tacos. I got the meat (ground turkey) thawed & started in the skillet. It was almost done when Dan got home - I was adding the seasoning to the meat. He finished it up though.
Cooking lesson learned - when adding water to meat & seasoning, there is a difference between simmering with or without the cover on. The box DID say uncovered, but the box was already in the recycle bin. Dan had me check & sure enough, uncovered!
It makes sense - covered keeps the steam in, uncovered the water evaporates!
No picture today - the pciture would basically be cut up lettuce & onion; shredded cheese in a package, taco sauce in a package, taco shells & meat.
